The Leak

What happens when a global superstar gives out his number during the Super Bowl? For Verizon, we turned J Balvin’s big-game commercial into an invitation to put the network to the test. A 60-second film directed by Dave Meyers launched the stunt on Univision during Super Bowl LVIII, then an AI-powered experience kept the conversation going long after the spot ended.

From the big screen to your phone

The film “leaked” J Balvin’s number and invited fans to get in touch. Antfood brought the other end of the conversation to life with an AI version of Balvin, responding in English and Spanish with his humor and personality. Built and tested in five weeks, the experience connected a Super Bowl-sized audience to a personal exchange—making Verizon’s network the stage for the whole interaction.
